One of truly amazing creation of Mother Nature, this amazing place located in Dikwella town. Dikwella is a small fishery town that located to Matara. It has a long history and was a famous fishery harbor. There we can find natural made blowhole which caused with sea water that rushes through submerged into cavern and those sea water pushed upward through that and made “ho… ho… ho….” Sound. That is why people called it Hummanaya. Annually many locals as well as foreigners visit this amazing place and enjoy natural blowhole. With natural pressure of sea waves water comes up to 25m height and that truly amazing to look at. Most of time every 10-15 minutes we can see this kind of water comes up. In the evening the water comes up too much due to tidal waves. During the monsoon season this pressure increase in significantly and can see truly amazing and picturesque view of spray. On that time it makes misty surrounding and that is truly amazing to look at. This is a place where can enjoy the surroundings also it is a best platform to watch sunset.
